Penne with Walnuts



Penne with Walnuts

 Penne with Walnuts
 
 
2 cloves    garlic, crushed  
1/4 cup    olive oil  
1/2 cup    sliced onions  
3/4 cup    chopped walnuts  
2 Tbs    chopped parsley  
1/4 tsp    freshly ground black pepper  
1 lb    penne pasta  
 
1 Cook the penne in boiling water for 8-10 minutes. Drain and place in serving bowl.
2 Saute the garlic and the onions in the olive oil until the vegetables are clear. Add the pepper, walnuts, and parsley. Saute for one minute to toast the nuts.
3 Pour the sauce over the pasta and toss to mix.
