Unforgettable Waldorf Salad Recipe

Waldorf salad recipe

 Chicken Waldorf Salad
 
 
12 oz    cooked chicken  
2   apples  
1/4 cup    sliced celery  
1/3 cup    dried cranberries  
1/3 cup    pecans  
1/3 cup    mayonnaise  
1/3 cup    sour cream  
1 tsp    dried rosemary  
1 Tbs    lemon juice  
1 Tbs    honey  
1   head of lettuce  
 
1 Core and dice the apples. Slice the celery. Chop the pecans. Dice the cooked, skinless chicken.
2 Mix the apples with the celery, pecans, cranberries and chicken together in a bowl.
For the dressing:
1 Crush the rosemary and combine with the mayonnaise and the sour cream. Mix in the lemon juice and the honey.
To assemble:
1 Gently stir the chicken mixture into the dressing, tossing well to coat.
2 Prepare the lettuce on plates, and spoon the salad over the lettuce.
