Recipe for Broccoli Tomato and Cauliflower Salad

Vegetable and Tomato Dish

This could easily be served as an uncooked side dish, but we like to steam the vegetables until tender crisp, then drench in cold water before assembly. Immediate drenching in cold water lends a vivid color to the veggies.

12 oz broccoli
12 oz cauliflower
1 onion
2 tomatos
1/2 cup miracle whip dressing
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 Wash and stem the vegetables. Wash and dice the tomatoes. Chop the onion (you may want to use only half an onion).
2 Cut the broccoli and the cauliflower into small bite-sized pieces. Steam the veggies (preferred)then rinse in cold water.
3 Mix everything together with the Miracle Whip and the seasonings. (Mayonnaise is not the same, use Miracle Whip).
