Chocolate Chip Cookies Just like Mrs. Field's

"My friends thought these Chocolate Chip Cookies were from the bakery!"


Ultimate Cookies

Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups sugar
1 lb butter
4 eggs
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups flour
4 1/2 cups oatmeal
2 cups chocolate chips
3 cups walnuts
1 Preheat oven to 400*
2 In a large bowl, cream the butter and the sugars. Add the eggs and beat well. Blend in the salt, baking soda, baking powder and the vanilla. Add the flour and oatmeal a little at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Add nuts and chocolate chips.
3 Shape into golf-ball-sized balls on ungreased cookie sheets and slightly flatten.
4 Bake 2 sheets at a time for 6 minutes. Do not overbake!
