Crockpot Pork Ribs

This crockpot pork ribs recipe for crockpot country style ribs, is so simple to make! Adding pineapple to this boneless ribs recipe, and most pork recipes, is just a natural fit.


Boneless ribs are used here, but bone-in ribs could easily be substituted in many of these crockpot pork recipes.

Long, slow cooking in your slow cooker ensures that your pork recipes turn out tender as they should be.

Serve these pork ribs with steamed rice and a green vegetable and you have a complete meal.

As a serving suggestion,allow the last 30 min of cooking time to steam some rice.

And perhaps add cook up some green beans or other vegetable and you can have dinner on the table in under 30 minutes!

Polynesian Pork Ribs Recipe

 Polynesian Crockpot Pork Ribs
 
 
2 lbs    boneless country-style pork loin ribs  
1 clove    garlic  
1   onion  
1 8oz    can crushed pineapple in unsweetened juice  
3/4 cup    no salt added ketchup  
3 tbs    brown sugar  
3 tbs    hoisin sauce  
1 tsp    grated ginger  
 
1 Place ribs, garlic and onion in your crockpot. Spoon about 1/2 the pineapple along with some of the juice over the ribs.
2 Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours.
3 About 35 minutes before serving, drain and discard the cooking juices from the slowcooker.
4 In a small bowl, combine ketchup, sugar, hoisin sauce, ginger and remaining pineapple with it's juice.
5 Return the ribs to the crockpot and pour the mixed sauces evenly over the ribs. Increase the heat to HIGH and cook for an additional 25-30 minutes, until the ribs are glazed.
