Focaccia Bread Recipe
Your finished focaccia bread recipe should be soft, and light. It's the perfect homemade bread recipe for cutting into long strips as a rustic breadstick for most any meal. It's a very low sodium recipe, so that you can feel good about making and serving this fun to bake bread. I use the bread machine to do all the work, and simply roll it out into the desired shape, let rise and finish off in a hot oven.

Italian Bread recipe - focaccia bread recipe | Focaccia | | | | | | 2 1/4 tbs | | dry yeast | | | 1 cup | | water | | | 1 Tbs | | sugar | | | 1/4 cups | | olive oil | | | 2 3/4 cups | | bread flour | | | 2 cloves | | garlic, pressed | | | 2 Tbs | | olive oil | | | | | | | 1 | Place yeast through flour into your bread machine and set to dough cycle. | | 2 | When cycle is completed, Punch down dough and form into a loaf shape with your hands. | | 3 | Preheat oven to 375º | | 4 | Combine the garlic with the TB olive oil and brush on top of the dough. | | 5 | Bake for about 25 minutes. | | 6 | NOTE: This is plain Focaccia, you may with to add more toppings before you bake it.
