Peanut Butter Cookies
with Hershey's Kisses on top

"This easy Peanut Butter Cookies recipe and others like it on this site are WONDERFUL cookie-jar-fillers for home bakers like myself!"

Nancy's Peanut Butter Cookies

1 1/2 cups		flour
1/2 tsp		baking soda
1/2 cup		butter
1 cup		peanut butter
1/2 cup		light brown sugar
1/2 cup		sugar
1		egg
1 tsp		vanilla
24		Hershey's kisses candies, unwrapped

1	Preheat oven to 375*.
2	Mix four and baking soda together.
3	In a large bowl, beat the butter and the peanut butter together until creamy. Beat in the sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and the vanilla.
4	Gradually add the flour mixture. Stir until blended.
5	Roll heaping teaspoonfuls of dough into balls. Place the balls 1 1/2" apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
6	Bake for 10 minutes.
7	Remove from oven and gently push an unwrapped Hershey's kiss into the center of each cookie and return to the oven for 2 minutes more.Remove from oven and cook on wire racks.
