The Best Low Sodium Spinach Dip Recipe

"Scott tells me that this Spinach Dip recipe
gave him the CONFIDENCE to entertain more than just once a year!"

Fabulous spinach dip recipe can be made up to several days in advance. Sometimes, I like to add some chopped red pepper to add bit more flavor to this easy cold appetizer recipe. The additional color perks up what can be "just another spinach dip recipe".

If you have some onion on hand, either red onion or the green salad type onions, you may want to add them to this dip recipe.

On buffets, I serve this low sodium recipe up in a sourdough bread bowl, using the torn up "insides" of the bread to surround the sourdough bowl so guests can use them to spread this great tasting dip on.

And for those of us who are on sodium restricted diets, I also add some low sodium crackers alongside.

Cold appetizer recipes for party can be this simple, with only a few ingredients.

Easy cold party appetizers ,like this spinach dip recipe, can be mixed together the day before so you don't have clean up duty before the party starts.

You can substitute fresh spinach for the frozen, just be certain to cook at least 2 bunches, and drain it well.

I use a clean dish towel (a non-terry towel)to squeeze all the water I can from the spinach. Just place the spinach on the towel, and roll the towel up with the spinach inside. It's best to do this at the sink.
