Although this recipe calls for a minimum amount of salt, I really feel it needs the salt to boost the flavor.

Spinach Green Pesto
Pesto with Spinach
Make this super and simple pesto, and you will never go back to "ready made"!
1 cup
fresh basil (do not try this with dried, it simply won't work)
1 cup
fresh spinach
1/2 cup
fresh parsley
2 cloves
garlic
1/8 tsp
salt
1/2 cup
walnuts
1/4 cup
olive oil

Into your food processor, fitted with the metal blade, add all the ingredients except the walnuts. Process until fairly smooth. Add the walnuts, and continue to process until finely chopped, scraping down bowl as necessary.

Toss this pesto with your favorite pasta, or spread it on your pizza crust. This is superb for a Panini dressing!
