Make Spritz Cookies Easily With Your Cookie Press

"These Spritz Cookies are exactly like the ones my mom used to bake!"

Mom's Spritz Cookies - For a Cookie Press
1 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 Preheat your oven to 375*.
2 Cream the butter with the sugar in a large bowl. Add the egg and mix well. Mix in the remaining ingredients, add the flour a little at a time.
3 Place the dough into a cookie press, press out your cookies onto an ungreased cookie sheet. ( you may also roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter on them. Decorate as you wish.
4 Bake for 10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Servings: 72
