Smoked Turkey Snack Bites

This is an original, and tasty way to use up any turkey leftovers.

This is one of several cold appetizer recipes that can be prepared several days in advance.

Although this smoked turkey recipe calls for smoked turkey,you can easily substitute any leftovers you happen to have on hand.

Cream cheese is low in sodium, and the addition of cream cheese make this appetizer recipe melt in your mouth good.

Hint: Make these up as an excellent replacement for boring sandwiches on any picnic or in any lunchbox.

Smoked Turkey Snack Bites

 Smoked Turkey Appetizer Bites
 

 
1 cup    smoked turkey ground in food processor  
1/4 cup cream cheese
3 Tbs    low sodium mayonnaise  
2 Tbs    onion grated  
1/2 tsp    sage  
2 Tbs    parsley minced  
3   drops hot pepper sauce  
1/4 cup    walnuts finely chopped  
 
1 In medium-size bowl, combine turkey, cream cheese, mayonnaise, onion, sage, parsley and hot pepper sauce and mix well... Or place all ingredients, except nuts, into a food processor and pulse just enough to mix.

Cover and chill.

2 Shape into small bite-size pieces, then roll the turkey balls in the nuts. Cover and chill until serving time.
